Sidekick. /vehicles_make-Suzuki_model-Sidekick.html I can't believe I'm the only person naming all these. -- Last edit: 2012-01-24 17:37:50 |

According to TonkaTracker at /vehicle_457883-BMW-7-E38-1999.html that logo on the spare tire cover indicates an Asüna Sunrunner. |

Apparently, it was a short lived brand in Canada. It doesn't seem to be surprising since Asüna sounds like an unappealing car brand name. -- Last edit: 2012-01-25 02:11:09 |

Indeed they were only around for 2 years and sold through Pontiac dealers (similar to the Chevrolet/Geo's here). For 1992 they only sold the Sunrunner, for 1993 they sold the Sunrunner, Sunfire (rebadged Isuzu Impulse) and GT / SE (rebadged Pontiac LeMans/Opel Kadette E) For 1994 the Sunfire and GT/SE was dropped and the Sunrunner was rebadged a Pontiac Sunrunner. Still not as obscure as the Passport Brand, which was sold only in Canada from 1988-1991. The 'Brand' consisted of Isuzu SUVs (still badged as Isuzus) and one car badged as a Passport Optima, which was again a rebadged LeMans/Kadett. -- Last edit: 2012-01-25 02:10:12 |
