WOW that is a 1992-1993 Asüna Sunrunner GT We should really consider adding that to the site!!! It would be the only Asüna Sunrunner on the site, we only have one Sunrunner as it is but it is a Pontiac and there are only 3 other Asünas on the site but they are all Sunfires . For those that don't know Asüna was a Canadian only sub-division of Pontiac (like Geo was to Chevrolet) The brand was only around for 2 years (1992-1993) and only sold 3 vehicles, the 1993 Sunfire (rebadged Isuzu Gemini), the 1992-93 Sunrunner (rebadged Suzuki Escudo) and the 1993 SE/GT (rebadged Opel Kadett) -- Last edit: 2011-12-21 13:25:21 |

How can you see the difference between an Asüna and a Chevrolet/Suzuki on this tiny picture? ![]() |

The logo on the spare tire cover was only used on the Asüna Also we know it isn't the Suzuki as the Suzuki has a different taillight configuration that the others. -- Last edit: 2011-12-21 07:37:55 |

I'll check in the movie if I find a better shot of it (at least one where the BMW is less visible ![]() |

You said Canadian only ''like Geo was to Chevrolet'' but that doesn't make since, because I am pretty sure Geos were sold in the USA, because I see them every day, and my friend owns one. -- Last edit: 2011-12-29 18:49:58 |

You misunderstood me, I never said that Geos were only sold in Canada. What I said was that asuna was only sold in Canada and that is was a subdivision of Pontiac, like geo was a subdivision of Chevrolet. Geos were sold in the USA from 1989-1998, and in Canada from 1992-1998. |

My exact problem with poor research. Being a distinct US-spec with clear lights, it is a 2001 model. NOT 1999. |

SWB and alloys would make it a 740i. |
