It has been suggested that this is this car - http://winfield.50megs.com/Adams/37Beals.htm - a 1911 Mercedes GP car raced in the 1911 Indy 500 and then converted to Hispano-Suiza V8 aero engine. I am not so sure but perhaps our pic here is from before the H-S V8 went in. any comments? |
