Yes, it could be a 61, as the Typ 1 got amber lights then, at least the greater white lamps are US 1961+. But the fuel gauge is a 1962+ standard item. The amber lights may have followed as a legal requirement and therefore not necessarily according to a model year change, though. Some states, maybe not all. Weren't the rear turn signals amber (somewhat later) first in California and Florida, while the rest still had red lamps? |
