There is such a wonderful racer - Stasys Brundza. He has the best result in the history of the USSR among our rallyists - 6th place in the overall results at the Akropolis rally in 1976. So in 1981 he created the Vilnius Factory of Transport Vehicles (VFTS) from the sports department of the Vilnius ARZ and established serial production of VAZ rally cars. This equipment was also exported - so the Bulgarians, in exchange for the VFTS 2105, by agreement, brought him this beauty. In addition to the "thief" numbers in his name, Stasys Kazevich received official permission to exceed the speed limit on any roads of the Lithuanian SSR. This is the story of this car." Agree not 78+ SC as simpler arches and not an SC rear badge. Also it doesn't have 81+ side indicators. 76-77 plain 911 matches badge, which is not Carrera, and 911 S was dropped at end of 75. So plain 911, which was still 2.7. Has periscope headlight squirters - usually only found on Turbo at this point, so likely a local spec tweak. |

I guess even if you do manage to get a Porsche into the USSR, you can't go the extra mile and get the top spec version! Also no independent Lithuania in 1976. Soviet republic, private import. -- Last edit: 2024-12-21 22:11:22 |
