DynaMike ◊ 2011-04-18 12:47	321 indeed. This model was built from late 1938 to 1941, and then again from late 1945 to 1950. I guess most of the 7851 early ones will not have survived the war, and of the 8996 post-war cars 5142 were exported to USSR.

Ingo ◊ 2011-04-19 23:39	To being really nitpicking-historical correct, "made for SU" could be added. The BMW-plant in Eisenach belonged to the USSR-state-owned "Awtowelo" ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Awtowelo ), whose products were made as reparation-goods and exclusevly exported to the USSR.
