Nice one. I think this is a Type 92 8-ton Prime Mover made from 1932+. The grille is not original (?), but I don't know who made these.

it largely looks like it

there is another difference than the grill, this original pic had no track covers

perhaps those were improvements on later production models ?

EDIT another difference , the pattern for those side vents is not same either

The writing is not a manufacturer but the army markings.
On Japanese vehicles the make is written in latin letters.

Tudou is a mainland Chinese website and works slow for me too, and I can't watch that properly.

well at least we know it's military use

here they list all this tractors from WW2
http://www3.plala.or.jp/takihome/car.htm

and IMO it is Type 92 8t Prime Mover "Ni-Ku" even some details don't match , if we had a shot of the track chassis we would know for sure

Link to "ja.wikipedia.org"

Japanese Wikipedia lists TGE, Nigata, and Kubota as engine providers, although TGE seems to be the one that developed and did most of the manufacturing.

yes

Quote In July 1931, an order for design and production was placed with Tokyo Gas Electric Industry Co., Ltd., and a prototype vehicle was completed in January 1932.

so we put producer as TGE as here /v373166.html
