If i could see the sides I could tell the model... |

But absolutely no mistaking it as a '58 Olds! |

Yes: 1958 Oldsmobile, probably a Super 88, but if I don't see the side it can be even a Dynamic 88 or a Ninety-Eight |

That was my problem with getting a screenshot for this car, it is only shown in shots from angle this angle, or head on from the front (from quite a distance i9n side the tunnel, so backlit, or looking from the headrest of the driver seat towards the righthand C-pillar... Had hoped someone more familiar with these would be able to see if there is any detailing differences between the variations -- Last edit: 2011-01-31 20:54:47 |

98 can be excluded by the chrome lettering on the rear (instead of gold); cf comments in /vehicle_154297-Oldsmobile-98-3067DX-1958.html |

The interior door panel further rules out the 98, which had a different interior (see Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" ). The Dynamic 88 can be excluded because that model had the reverse lights mounted under the main taillights and not in the bumper. By process of elimination, this can only be a Super 88. |

Nice detailed research to a definitive conclusion. Excellent! |
