As I learned from Gomselmash11 most Meharis sold in Argetina have been made in Uruguay, on a Argentinean chassis. Argentinean built ones would rather have an extra, black metallic bumper. Note also the white indicator lights... |

In this link it's written that the body of these Uruguayan Meharis was made of glassfibre reinforced plastic, instead of the ABS as used in France. They could have exported this version back to Europe, to Germany, where the ABS was forbidden because of inflamability  |
