Hmmm... Dennis? (As those are quite popular among the UKs fire departments.)

The registration is LL51ZNU. How many different companies make British Fire Engines at the moment?

Scania and Volvo seem to be most popular in addition to Dennis or Dennis Fire, with some Mercedes.
Cannot find them on DVLA for this registration.
LL51 ZNU 'LL' - Registered in Stanmore, Middlesex therefore.

The shapes of the side windows do not match Dennis, Volvo, Scania, or IVECO of that periode.
It could be a Mercedes-Benz or an MAN.

In my opinion it is most likely a Dennis

The Dennis' have since the mid 1990s a rather distinctive side window design:

The windows on this engine look different:

You are right it is different now, funny because the side windows is what me made think of dennis in the first place. :)

What do you think of the Volvo in this picture:

Quite a resamblance, isn't it?

The Volvos have an extra low door window:

I am not sure there is enough space for that window here.

On the other hand if you look at this image

it comes very close. Wheelarches, air vents, etc.

Perhaps it is a Volvo after all.

I believe it is a Volvo and that the low door window is possible.

Compare a similar rear view of a Volvo with the front view of the same vehicle. The rear view is very similar to the Little Britain shot and the cab door glass would be difficult to see.
