I've validated this as kegare says. That is, Advance-Rumely as maker. But it seems we have only Rumely as maker in the site /vehicles.php?make=Rumely&model= despite it seems (only based in Wikipedia) the maker was Advance-Rumely http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance-Rumely so...., which of these three 'rumely' must we edit?, this one into 'just' Rumely, or the anothers two 'Rumely' into Advance-Rumely?

It is a little tricky for those models. The manufacturer is Advance-Rumely and the model also includes the name Rumely (ex: Advance Rumely Rumely OilPull).

Does this engine say its maker on it, or are we just going by the red wheels and the red pulley?

The gang attempted to rob the bank in Northfield about 2 p.m. on September 7, 1876.

Case built their first traction engine in 1878 and their last one in 1924.

On April 3, 1882, Jesse James was killed by Robert Ford.

In any case, it is doubtful The Long Riders encountered a steam traction engine in Northfield, Minnesota.

This info was based off a website, which apparently does not work anymore.

Quote Cecil Branch, himself an avid collector and restorer of historic machinery, shows off the museum's 1914 Rumely steam traction engine. This engine was recently in the movie The Long Riders, which was filmed in Georgia and California

Here it is at the museum:

Proof that a Rumely engine can have an Advance logo on the front end.

"Proud Mary" is a 1915 20HP Advance Rumely owned by the Ozarks Steam Engine Association.
