Somehow I'd think this is the same as /vehicle_334369-Citroen-2CV-6-1975.html |

sold in Italy since April 1976 after a long stop since 1966. |

From what I understood only the 2CV 4 was imported to Italy (which had no 3rd side window). Was thinking it might be an early 79 because of the banana window but it turns out the movie is from 1977, not 1978. So this might be a privately imported car from before official Italian sales began. |

I am absolutely not a 2CV expert, but I was thinking that I’ve never seen one without 3rd side window here. Wonder if all Italian market ones had it since their reintroduction? In this gallery of 2CV 4 I see only a couple of imported ones without 3rd side window and one said to be retrofitted, all others listed as 1977-78 have it: https://www.targhenere.net/gallery/photogallery.php?album_id=577 Trying to get something by the plate but nothing for now, I should look at tables (on the usual site they are behind a paywall now, but I have something for Rome). Edit: plate should be February/March 1977. 2CV 6 was introduced after June 1978 (work in progress for correct date), so should the linked one be listed as 1976+ 2CV 4? -- Last edit: 2024-09-18 01:02:15 |
