Here is a some bare bones info on ABC. I believe they made motorcycles as well. http://www.britishmm.co.uk/history.asp?id=12 I have no idea what the ABC looks like but it is obviously a light car, of wghich there wwere many in the 1920s.

MN 2222 was an Isle of Man plate issued sometime between 1906 and 1935. IoM data is not recorded by DVLA, but 2222 could well be early 1920s. Also noted that IoM was one of the film locations. So it is probably a genuine local plate and car, but can not be checked or confirmed.

A picture of this car, MN 2222, appears in The Encyclopedia of Cars by Peter Henshaw, which describes it as a 1941 ABC Regent - I guess they meant 1921!
