in the movie the owner said it was a 1973 model. also it was damaged by a meteor it was hit by. |

It was not hit by the meteor, but thrown in the air when the meteor touched the ground, if I remember well. |

Crazy to think that this car was 28 years old when this movie was made, and the '97 Jeep TJ (Which could still be bought new in 2006) is also approaching 28 years old. The Buick felt older when this movie was new, than the Jeep TJ feels now. |
