Decor panel under the windows, probably American and late 20s. Conventional doorhandles are distinct - most US makes used butterflies. I've eliminated Studebaker, Mopar, the three Ps of motordom, Hupmobile, Star (Rugby) Willys, the Durant conglomerate, Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac/Oakland, Graham/Paige, Chandler, Elcar, Stutz, Nash and Reo. Hudson, Franklin and Lincoln are so far the only US make I have found with doorhandles like this. None of them have styling that absolutely matches this car. -- Last edit: 2023-06-24 09:46:24 |

However, on the three remaining options, the door handles are respectively in a vice-versa position. So perhaps a big Fiat which utilized American styling? I'm out of my depth for Old World interwar cars. |
