Wasn't the "Martini" a 911 Turbo? Link to "www.google.de" The car above seems not to be a Turbo due it's regular fenders. Surely these stripes were available aftersales-market, maybe even at the Porsche-dealer. Same with the "M"-badges for BMW's, "Alpina"-stripe-stickers, "G60"-badges for VW's etc.pp. |

Martini striping available from Oct 76 as accessory (not a special edition, though a unique 911 turbo with liveried interior was displayed at 1976 Earls Court show) - commemorated the Martini Porsche 936 (Ickx/Van Lennep) which won 76 Le Mans. Other details match 1976+ my (headlamp washers) but before 1980 (no side indicators). For 1977 the 3.0 Carrera got colour-coded headlight surrounds (not fitted to normal 2.7 for that year), so this is 1977 911 Carrera 3.0. |
