If the pics are from that race the car would be a 1920 H6B (135 CV) made in France, like all the H6 |

I think the Hispano is an Alfonso XIII, not an H6 |

I agree with robgeelen 2 .It is a ( somewhat older) 1913 Hispano-Suiza Alfonso XIII .I found a picrure of this car published in " Le Monde Illustré" of october 1913 in an advertising of the " Ancienne Carrosseries Vinet" (Société Française de Carrosseries de Luxe in Courbevoie).It shows Alfonso XIII riding in the car with General Lyautey. The text says :" Alfonso XIII touring with General Lyautey in his preferred car ,specially equipped for the king of Spain by the Carrosserie Vinet".The small half-oval plate on the base of the rear fender just behind the running board bears the name " Vinet". |
