Those hood irons suggest it is German. I think it is a Horch but not sure which model. The bonnet length would suggest a straight eight rather than one of their V8s.

By the way, it seems to be french railways station... could this be a french car too?

I agree that the hood irons look rather German, but nevertheless this car is French. It is a circa 1936 Unic U6 Sport. Compare the side of the bonnet and the shape of the wings with this one:

There's no good front view but the grille and bumper of the U6 is not the same:

License plate 6728 RL 5. Maybe this can pinpoint the year?

With the grill view, it does make a difference indeed. This grill remind very much a Delage

The registration appears to be a Paris number from 1938:

From chicomarx's enlarged thumbnails I would agree with Delage. Maybe a D8 from the mid 1930s? - with a German body??

OK, sorry, I've been too much relying on the typical side of the bonnet... :/
What about the Delage D8-100 Chapron as visible here: Link to "www.forum-auto.com" (second item) ? Except for the wheels and the bumper it looks very similar, I guess :)

I think it is a Delage, most likely a D8/120 Convertible by Chapron or D'Ieteren (the car in Brussels in the museum has similar wheel coverings)

I'm not sure that lateral air intakes on the bonnet match so well with the Chapron :/

Sorry, they do match Chapron cars, especially pre war Delage and Delahaye.
Not a D8 120, probably a D6 Chapron.

Quote Why this car is still referred to as D6 is a mystery, there is a perfectly clair shot of the right side of the car with 4 Exhaust pipes visible. So This is a D8.
