kentercanyon ◊ 2020-12-31 05:00	Fun fact: this is director Richard Linklater's mom's old car, she passed it on to him and he drove it as his daily driver for years, including during the making of SLACKER and then DAZED before he was able to afford a better car. One additional reason he drove it to set every day during the making of DAZED is that he could collect a fifty dollar check for each day it appears as a period-correct background vehicle. He kept the car for many years until it was lost in a forest fire in Bastrop, Texas. Also, that's Renee Zellweger in the striped top at the Moontower party, hanging by the blue Cutlass.
