Pomorskie - it was filmed in the Tricity (Gdyna-Gdańsk-Sopot) and its closest area. |

Ah, the "Tricity" belongs to Pomorskie, as I can read in Wiki. The name irritated me a bit, because after 1945 were not only all names changed (except of Goldap IIRC), the Polish Voivodeships are also fitted as the former German provinces. It's a bit tricky, when you are travelling there. When we Germans hear "Pommern", we have http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Map-Prussia-Pomerania.svg in mind. Danzig/Gdansk, which is the capital of the Voivodeship Pomorskie belonged not to Pommern the centuries before. |

It didn't belong acc. to the German administrative division perhaps, but technically it always was a part of the "Pomorze" - which is the historical old Slav name of this area. The German word "pommern" is taken from the Slav "pomorze". -- Last edit: 2013-02-23 15:17:14 |

Yes, both names have the same roots - but their assignment is different. That's, what I mean. So it may cause confusions, when you equal them, especially, when you are travelling there. |
