As the Bugatti 51 only appeared in 1931, and this movie is from 1930 I am sure it is a either a 35B or a 35 C - no difference on the outside the difference being 2,3 litre and 2 litre engine respectively.

Agree, wide radiator was for the most powerful 35 too
