RMZ Riga Delta Sport (1986-) 'RMZ' is 3-letter Russian factory code. 'RMZ Riga Delta Sport' or 'Riga Delta Sport' Which is better ![]() (I'll follow the IMCDb naming law) ![]() http://digilander.libero.it/cuoccimix/delta_1.jpg http://digilander.libero.it/cuoccimix/rmz-delta.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-03-12 19:23:09 |

Good question... what do you mean by "factory code" ? ![]() |

It's the 'initials of the plant' (not the 'factory code'. Am I almost slept last night? ![]() In this case I think 'Riga Delta Sport' is good because another their models have 'Riga' name and seems not include 'RMZ'. It is indispensable when it constitutes one name (ZIS 110, for example). It excludes, when it is thought that Russian did not use (Moskvitch 400, for example. Is 'MZMA' required?) Wartime vehicle & military vehicle are most difficult...many plants produce the same vehicle. (sorry, I have not judged Urals...IMZ M-72, MMZ M-72, KMZ M-72 ![]() More wonderful solution is Russian identifier comes and check them ![]() |

As for Ural bikes: In most cases one vay to check them- take a look on VIN. There is no manufacturer ID outside. And there was VERY similar Dnepr bike....he-he. |
