These older Range Rovers used BorgWarner 2-Speed Transfer Cases. Naturally much older designs than BorgWarner’s newer generation of Transfer Cases. Nonetheless, they were robust and provided full-time 4-wheel-drive. No one builds a 4-wheel-drive transfer case quite like BorgWarner. I’m glad Ford still uses them for the Expedition. |
