Yes the 1951 Super Riviera had three, the Roadmaster Riviera had four portholes. But Super and Roadmaster had front fenders that got lower on the end; the one shown here has a straight top line of the front fender, which makes it a Special. |

You're looking at some rare images: this episode aired on CBS in 1955 in black and white, and was seen for more than 50 years that way in reruns. Then when they went to make the DVD, they found a rare color print (this was one of the pilot episodes but aired later in the season) and released that copy. That's why we have color shots of this car from a first season episode. |
