' it's a 1957-1961 Style the newest this truck can be is a 1961 the oldest this truck can be is a 1957 has a newer hood style "but not tilt" the hoods shorter than most 281's Like Duel's the hoods longer cause a Shorter Hood was standard in 1957-1961 but in 1960 like in toque the hoods were long again -- Last edit: 2008-12-28 04:36:15 |

Can't be a 54 thru '59. Has the newer uni lite cab ( NO RAIN GUTTER ABOVE WINSHIELD ). Impossible to pin point exact year, but mid 60's 281 is the most accurate. |

Junkman. The older Kenworths were narrow noses but Peterbilts were called Needle noses. |
