For this purpose, it was decided to put into service 5 İETT lines with bridge crossings to operate between the two sides and to purchase 48 more Büssing buses to operate on these lines. In late 1973, 48 Büssing Consul-47Ds were procured from the domestic market and started service on the bridge lines as planned. They were also given the numbers 1240-1287 (Link to "www.odatv.com")
