I remember falling for these as a kid - the retro styling made them stand out among the boring Yarises and Micras. Hard to come by these days, sadly. |

Come on, it's pretty obvious they were heavily inspired by late 50s/early 60s European sports cars with that front end - not to mention the abundance of chrome. I was there, it was a breath of fresh air back then, believe me. |

I find these quite original and pleasant too. Weren't very common back then but you could see some, especially in big cities. The duller next generation was more common though. |
