That's what it was called in Europe markets, since this film was made in JP, it is an Honda Elite (1984-88) |

Doubt these scenes were filmed in Europe. Can't see why they would import an Spacy to JP if it's just the European version of the Elite. Maybe it has something to do with the bubble Japan was in during the Heisei Era |

I'm going to be pedantic and say that the Bubble Era was mainly late 1980s, which was the last few years of the Showa; including the year this movie came out  The Heisei and Bubble overlapped for only about a first couple of years, and the rest is downhill from there... A "good economy" sounds like a Chinese concept to a Japanese millenial (Yutori) like me  |

I just said Spacy because I wasn't thinking the Japanese name was Elite. No need to take it that seriously... |
