Made for NZ indeed by that trim level name. Australian trim counterparts were GLS and Exceed, Thai trim counterparts were GT, GT-Plus and GT-Premium, and Indonesian trim counterpart here was Dakar Ultimate. Trim counterparts said there were chosen based on the wheels shown in 1.06 thumbs, while lacking a sunroof evidenced in the main (our Dakar models here in Indonesia have this option. If I'm not mistaken, neither Australia or New Zealand ever offered the sunroof option in their Pajero Sports of this generation).
