6.16 ![]() ![]() @HartyBeats - I get it that it's not always easy to know when to add a new entry or add it to the comments of an existing car. And dsl has been very helpful in IDing some of those cars before the validators see it, and he's been flagging the ones that are duplicates. But in this case, you recognized what the car was and should have seen that there is already a page for a similar (or likely the same) late Hillman Minx. So this was the time for you to not make a new entry, but to make thumbnails and add them to the existing page yourself. |

I don't agree with you. Whilst the two vehicles may be the same make and model, there is not sufficient evidence to reasonably conclude the two vehicles are the SAME vehicle. -- Last edit: 2023-09-05 03:46:00 (dsl) |

Unfortunately, that is not how we do things here. On large TV series, we don't list each individual vehicle, especially background vehicles, and we group like models together. It's listed on the Help page: "Similar background vehicles in a movie should be regrouped by posting additional images in the comments of a vehicle page." It is the same reason why the 1962 Austin A60 Cambridge were grouped together. They may be different cars, but they all have been ID'd as 1962 A60s, and 3 of them were background cars. The only time we would allow them to be listed separately is if they have a strong role in the title (at least 3-stars). -- Last edit: 2023-09-05 03:46:20 (dsl) |
