Appears to have silver streaks, so it could be a Pontiac convertible. But I cannot peg this rear bumper to any of the 49-52 Pontiacs. Mind you, cars were often dressed up and cusomized in these years. To me it looks like someone stuck a ca. 52 Ford bumper on a ca. 50 Pontiac ragtop.
What do you think Pilou?

It's 1950 Pontiac Convertible Coupe.
But i can't identify what model this is.
From '49 to '52, Pontiac changed rear hood ornament year by year.

You are right, it is a '50.

Yes ,it may be a Pontiac 1950 Chieftain Convertible ( rear deck ornaments , lights and number plate illumination corresponds and to me the bumper seems correct as far as can be seen), but the car seems to have been modified or customized to some extent with apparently upright winged rear fenders possibly to create a Cadillac-like look.

How about naming 'Pontiac Chieftain Convertible (1950)' to this?

Once pilou suggested 'some extent with apparently upright winged rear fenders'
I think this is one of possibility.

Assuming that the convertible top is original, this has to be a 49 or a 50 Pontiac convertible, a comparatively rare vehicle. I've owned one for 20 years and have done a complete restoration, becoming familiar with most details about it. The only non-original parts I can discern are the rear bumper guards which shouldn't have the bulbous upper ends, and it does appear to have bolt-on rear fender top pieces. These die-cast accessories were popular in the mid to late 50s and were designed to give a more finned, modern look to the fenders. The giveaway on the year is that the last year for the narrow glass rear window in the stock top was 1950. The 1951 convertible had a full sized clear plastic rear curtain. The rear trunk handle appears to be heavier than the 49, so I'd have to say 1950. Apart from the vertical bumper guards, the rear bumper and accessory bumper guards, which are the horizontal curved ones capping either end, are all stock Pontiac.
