The one on the left it's 1977 Continental Mark V Bill Blass designer series edition (it's Midnight Blue Metallic with Chamois Frenched Landau Vinyl Roof) and on the right it's 1978-1979 Lincoln Continental 4dr. There is also white Mark IV behind 1972-1976. |

Not a '77 Bill Blass - a Blass would have Chamois fender and door moldings - this one is blue. It could be a '77, but I've found that these Midnight Blue/Chamois cars that look like '77 Bill Blass editions - but aren't - are dealer-ordered '78 cars. Seems as if the scheme was popular after the '77 Blass edition (not to mention the similar scheme on the '76 Blass Mark IV). Nevertheless, in absence of any other data, it's still 1977-79. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-06-22 03:59:26 |
