From the grille it could be a Lancia. Although the silver colour would suggest something German. Note that this is supposed to represent an old time race (mid 1930s?) but it is on a modern circuit with huge run-off areas covered in 'kitty litter' |

There is a German driver in this scene (though we don't see in which car he exactly sits), later in next scenes we can hear that he drove a Mercedes in the past? But can it be a Mercedes?! Looks pretty strange like for this. |

nzcarnerd is right. Don't worry about the colour. It is a Lancia approx. 1938 with Pinin Farina body. |

The car is Lancia Aprilia barchetta bodied by Touring of Milan. Is s/n is 39-3172 and raced for many years with Luigi Belluci. At Tobruk-Tripoli 1939 with an original hard-top. Bellucci live in Naples and after the car going to Vicenza,Como and after Piacenza. Now is property of an italian collection. |

That car is a Lancia Aprilia Barchetta Superleggera. The year of construction was 1938. My father found it in a farm here in Italy, near Padova. Now we restored it. You can see it in this site: www.carandgolf.com |
