This scene was based on the arrest of Michael X who were arrested on the 1st March 1972 for the murders of Gale Benson and Joseph Skerritt. In reality, he was arrested in Guyana and the police only found their bodies when they came to investigate a fire that occurred at the commune on the 22nd February. |
