There were 3 full factory Alpines at Sebring 1962 (#41-43), plus a fourth private but factory supported (#44). 41 Procter/Harper, finished 15th 42 Miles/Spencer, retired 43 Sheppard/Payne/Spencer, finished 32nd despite engine blow-up but it kept going 44 Theodoli/Barrette, finished 33rd #41-43 were brand new identical hardtops, built start of 62, in pretty pale blue with white tops so as seen in captures. They were then sold off in US. #44 was an older Harrington fastback, darker unknown colour. |
