Also, given that the real movie scenes were shot in East Germany (with archive footage of West Germany), this location is more likely a good (?) fake movie set. fred1969 ◊ 2022-01-03 16:43	a film set? you should have thought of that! because the real photos of St Pauli in Hamburg that I saw were very similar. The roadster reminds me more of an English one...Daimler apparently had a connection with Mercedes (?) but I couldn't find anything that matched. Would Gerasimov have also tinkered with the car?

I always thought that Daimler was 100% English (which is true because of the origin in Coventry) but I didn't know that the company had been bought by BSA and then Jaguar...thanks
