Interesting-looking roadster, but I can´t think of anything. An ¨eigenbau¨ of some sort, perhaps ?

With the size I'd say Wanderer W 25 K

the design of the rear wing reminds of the IFA roadster  ?

Probably not an IFA ;) It's Hamburg.

I think it´s much too small for Wanderer. Also, given that the real movie scenes were shot in East Germany (with archive footage of West Germany), this location is more likely a good (?) fake movie set.

My best guess : it´s a Dixi with individually made body panels. There are plenty of such creative Dixi´s which come in different shapes and forms :

a film set? you should have thought of that! because the real photos of St Pauli in Hamburg that I saw were very similar. The roadster reminds me more of an English one...Daimler apparently had a connection with Mercedes (?) but I couldn't find anything that matched. Would Gerasimov have also tinkered with the car? :)

Might I suggest that you spend a few minutes with this introductory course?

I did not say anything! :) I always thought that Daimler was 100% English (which is true because of the origin in Coventry) but I didn't know that the company had been bought by BSA and then Jaguar...thanks ;)
