Shooting at a jet with a pistol, but might it be a Henderson? Link to "images.mecum.com" Note the crossbar of the handlebars and the molding of the fork. EDIT: Representatives of the USSR did buy two used Hendersons for upping the industry in young Soviet Russia, but that was in 1928/29: https://www.drive2.ru/b/525390087534412155/ Thor and Sears also used a fork shape like that, but both without the lock in the middle which speaks for the Henderson. -- Last edit: 2025-05-16 18:48:59 |

There's a wonderful but sadly very fuzzy closeup of the engine blowing at 17:14 where one can see a sort of arrow pointing up which would further match part of what appears to be a removed Henderson logo: Link to "mail.ru" Link to "lh6.googleusercontent.com" There is a lot of text on the arrow. Excelsior, which bought Henderson in 1917, used a similar X logo, but only with _____ COMPANY on the bottom aperture. Henderson has three rows of text like in my link which in full should say "[Made by] Excelsior Motor Mfg and Supply Co., Chicago USA" The earliest evidence for Henderson using this logo is from May 1918: https://www.ebay.com/itm/156629949632 Where is the sad biker?? -- Last edit: 2025-05-20 16:45:16 |
