I think this was made for the movie. There are things like this in the real world, but they are usually bigger then this. ![]() |

I agree with truckface - made for movie. This probably represents a kind of mining or tunneling machine. However, I have never seen one that runs on wheels. In addition, I don't believe that the spindly little mounting arm would hold up against the stress of the cutter heads. |

Yes. U can clearly see a cable attached to the back of it as it goes down the bridgeway. Propably just to release it down into the tunnel.... |

I listened to the audio commentary on the DVD, and if I remember correctly, they say that they designed and built this thing. |

It says "Brooks" on it. Maybe they named this made for movie vehicle after a movie crew member as an inside joke. |
