It was badged Simca in 1978-79, Simca-Talbot in 1980 and Talbot in 1981+ |

Early ones (1978-79) were badged as Simca, 1980+ as Talbot. Don't think there's a way to tell from here.. English Wikipedia says that they were sold as Chrysler in Europe (excluding France where it was sold as Simca) but I instead recall them as Simca (or Chrysler Simca) in nearly whole Europe and Chrysler just in UK ![]() Nice breakdown of trims here, with many pictures: https://iruggentianni7080.forumfree.it/m/?t=63799213 (based on Italian trims) Edit: Alex was faster ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-02-12 16:24:05 |

ouch.. i see an headache coming up on the Horizon.. some had a 200 km/h speedometer ? i don't know what was under that hood but it seems enthousiasmic .. ![]() out of curiosity, was there a similar version to the Omni GLH / GLH-S ? -- Last edit: 2021-02-12 17:45:03 |

![]() can't tell for them, but did in a 2002 Daewoo Lanos ( my Mazda Protegé was a year older, had twice the milleage and was still running like new compared to it ) |

No, there weren't sporty versions, bigger motor was the 1.6 with 92hp and yes, the 200 kmh speedometer was pretty optimistic ![]() |
