I saw 5 minutes of this episode and this caught my eye, but has me stumped. Probably something obvious I've not thought of, my best idea was a rare AC 428, but the sidelights looked small and round. |

Looks a definite AC 428 to me. Can't think of anything else which could match. Any view of red next to it?? |

I'll take another look, but it seemed like a static shot. |

Can anybody provide any details of the leftmost red car in the picture? |

No without more views - it had me stumped 3 years ago and still does. I can think of a few things it probably isn't, but not what it is. If Plod removed his head, it might help. |

I found a fuzzy copy on YouTube at around the 34:30 mark: https://youtu.be/XuNdfmAXwnc?si=BPP0lrUSAgia_hhe&t=2071 |

Very slim pillars front and back, wide body, small bonnet vent for a big bonnet. Something early-mid 60s, maybe Italian or Italianate .... |

Yes, hang on to your hats for this idea - 1963 Ferrari 250 GT/L Berlinetta 'Lusso'. Not definite, and surprised it's so hidden, instead of making a song and dance of it. |

Deep Lusso parcel shelf and hint of yellow rectangular Ferrari badge on the nose? Interesting. I see on imdb this was shot in 2005 or thereabouts. A few hundred thousand pounds/euros car at the time, indeed surprising they brought it on set and toss it at the background like that. |

... posted the Ferrari - it just had to be done. Looks like £2825 on the windscreen - I wonder what the unpriced AC would have gone for? |

1965-1973. Any reason we don't call this a Frua? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_Frua |

Production probably 67+ after Oct 66 announcement. Probably no-one's ever thought of adding Frua, but a bit superfluous as he did them all, including the coupes.. |
