Not always though. The horse I had in mind the other day, although the favourite at very short odds in a seven horse race, came in fifth. (Well, you didn’t think I spent all my time on imcdb, surely.) The remaining two horses had already pulled up due to soft going!

Fortunately I didn’t back it.
