Nah, rather someone bought after it was out of service, cut it down and pimped it. |

Not unusual to buy surplus postal Jeeps and cut them down like this. They were available very cheaply and even though 2wd they served well as "fun" vehicles. I believe the drive line was a posi-trac 3:73 Dana 44 (?) which made it peppy in many applications. |

Anyone recognize the seats? Obviously they only had a driver's seat. Or maybe someone used the driver's seat from another Dispatcher as the passenger seat. Weren't there also right hand drive models, for easier loading of mailboxes? |
