Not too familiair with Brit cars. I'll take a guess at early fifties Humber (Snipe? Super Snipe?)

This is a Morris Six (1948-54) compare with this one /vehicle.php?id=83923 This was the MO Oxford body with a long nose grafted on and fitted with a 2.2 litre ohc six. Not one of their big sellers.

The car in the movie is later than 1949 since the registration plate is mounted separately rather than being part of the boot lid pressing (with a single rear light on the right).

This probably dates the car from after at least 1950.

An early car showing one rear light and two smaller stop-lights plus the old registration plate location.

This Morris Six has a 1950 Dorset C.C. (Bournemouth) registration. It is also fitted with additional equipment such as extra spot-lights, windscreen washers and additional wiper at the top of the driver`s winscreen to enable it to partake in the Monte-Carlo Rally.

1951 or earlier from rally plates, which displayed the year from 1952. EJT 282 issued Oct-Dec 1950, so this is 1951 rally, matching other cars in this film.
