nzcarnerd ◊ 2007-08-06 07:59	This is a Morris Six (1948-54) compare with this one /vehicle.php?id=83923 This was the MO Oxford body with a long nose grafted on and fitted with a 2.2 litre ohc six. Not one of their big sellers.

Sunbar ◊ 2007-08-06 10:36	The car in the movie is later than 1949 since the registration plate is mounted separately rather than being part of the boot lid pressing (with a single rear light on the right). This probably dates the car from after at least 1950. An early car showing one rear light and two smaller stop-lights plus the old registration plate location.
sixeighty ◊ 2007-09-06 17:05	This Morris Six has a 1950 Dorset C.C. (Bournemouth) registration. It is also fitted with additional equipment such as extra spot-lights, windscreen washers and additional wiper at the top of the driver`s winscreen to enable it to partake in the Monte-Carlo Rally.
