This is a Morris Six (1948-54) compare with this one /vehicle.php?id=83923 This was the MO Oxford body with a long nose grafted on and fitted with a 2.2 litre ohc six. Not one of their big sellers. |

The car in the movie is later than 1949 since the registration plate is mounted separately rather than being part of the boot lid pressing (with a single rear light on the right). This probably dates the car from after at least 1950. This Morris Six has a 1950 Dorset C.C. (Bournemouth) registration. It is also fitted with additional equipment such as extra spot-lights, windscreen washers and additional wiper at the top of the driver`s winscreen to enable it to partake in the Monte-Carlo Rally. |

1951 or earlier from rally plates, which displayed the year from 1952. EJT 282 issued Oct-Dec 1950, so this is 1951 rally, matching other cars in this film. |
