If it is Melex, then very unusual one or very rebuilt one... I think the smiliarity can be coincidental. The squared logo on the right can be original - of the real manufacturer.

BTW I like how in older movies things like golf carts or small industrial battery carts used to be shown as futuristic high tech of the year 2000.

^ I hear you! :D Daily struggle for a commercial (hearse) coachbuilding detective. Small production numbers, hardly any documentation, hardly any survivor. And hardly anyone who even remembers that certain company you're looking for. And then people go all "but you're the expert, how come you can't you tell us what it is??"
