BM ◊ 2009-11-21 21:08	4x4 23 wrote it's a 1979 GMC General because it was in the Credits of BJ and the Bear in 1979 then in that case that would make this truck a 1980 GMC General, because both BJ and the Bear Credits & this movie were filmed at the end of '79 I This movie realsed on December 15, 1979 acorrding to IMDB.org and anything on a car or truck make that was made in June in 1979- May in 1980 were veachles that were made in '80 So, I say we should put the year 1980 up there instead of 1979

midnight_trucker ◊ 2023-06-13 05:58	This truck should be listed as a 1980 GMC General as it is one of three trucks that had the General Quarters Prototype Sleeper on it like seen in Smokey and the Bandit II It was refitted with a 36" Sleeper by the time it had got to Hollywood although when it was on tour attending truck shows before it had the General Quarters Prototype Sleeper on it to advertise for the General Quarters Prototype Sleeper
