From the front this looked more like a Grumman LLV. I'm not positive on that though, because the back looks wrong. |

This is a Grumman, but not an LLV. This van was Grumman\'s attempt to enter into the commercial mini van market in the late 70\'s and early 80\'s. It appears that Grummam LLV is based on many of the concepts introduced on this predecessor |

Further clarification This is a Grummum Model 70, its entire drivetrain is Volkswagon |

Actually this is the Grumman Kubvan DL-100. The 70 has a slightly shorter body. Superba is right, it has a VW Diesel Rabbit drivetrain, and was introduced in early 80s as an electric version, the Kurbwatt. Never formally adopted by the USPS, and production stopped in 85. |
