I think this might be a Japanese Wrangler. Can't find any info on a Wrangler Limited on goo-net (I know for a fact US and Europe only got it on the Cherokee) but here's a very similar looking model on beforward: https://www.beforward.jp/es/jeep/wrangler/bf59734/id/53554/ As you can see, J Wranglers were LHD. YJ was sold in Japan beginning in December 1989 and remained mostly unchanged except for a minor technical update in January 1995. Replaced by the TJ in November 1996. So Japan already had a Wrangler Limited in the 90s, while the US had to wait over a decade for the Unlimited... |
