I doubt whether it is a Farmall - have seen this tractor, possibly a Case, will have to go and look it up. |

From looking at the modified frame and the two big wheels mounted on the rear fenders this looks to have been converted into a road grader. |

It's an Allis-Chalmers WD-45, first introduced in 1953. http://www.bae.uky.edu/tstomb/images/Personal/2wds.jpg -- Last edit: 2007-05-26 00:57:35 |

This is actually a allis chalmers WC styled the major identifier is that there is no exhaust hole in the hood only the WC would not have that. 2nd there is also a hand brake that you would notice if you knew about it. 3rd the WC where also sold/converted to a road grader. 3rd the rear drive axel is to thin to house the brake assembly for a WD or WD45. I just sold a WC and bought a WD45 so I know the body styles. Thak you |

The WC and the WD/WD45 looked about the same. The WC was produced feom 1933-1947 when the WD/WD45 took over with live power, hydraulics, and power adjust rear rims. |

It is not a WD-45 its a model "W" motor grader they have the same hood but the WD-45 is a farm tractor and the W is for mantaning roads and the W is longer for the blade underneath the tractor. |

I think ACD19farmboy nailed it. A-C did sell a motor grader on the WD platform. The frame was lengthened considerably to accommodate the blade and leverage needed to control it. We just can't see the frame extension from here. But, the arced grader blade frame is quite visible, that and the blade control wheels. Good Eye ACD19farmboy! |

This house was built between 327 and 351 Ararimu Valley Road. But it was knocked down after the movie was made. |
