This is a Christie - they built front drive units to convert horsedrawn steamers to self propelled firetrucks. Here is one I found - http://www.pbase.com/gemc48/image/39217851 There will be a big four cylinder petrol engine (probably of more than 600 c.i.)up front driving the front wheels. -- Last edit: 2007-05-23 22:25:08 |
