I thought it might've been an ACF Brill, but not anymore.

This Flxible has a similar color-schema.

It's nowhere near as aerodynamic as the Flxible you showed us.

Okay, I still can't shake the idea that this might be an ACF Brill, and this photo convinces me of that a little more:

Some similarities indeed, but it is also different... Maybe just another year?

Yes, the one in the link I just posted is from the early-1940's. Most of the ones I recognize more easily are from the post-WW2 era.

Maybe it's something from Kenworth?

Perhaps with the new main picture and extra pics added the discussion about the ID can finish

I just found this site http://www.busesonscreen.net/screen/screenfmsm.htm and I am not sure they have identified it either. This site might be worth checking through to see if it answers any other mystery buses on imcdb.

Somebody claimed this was a Fitzjohn. There is something familiar about the insignia above the grille.

UPDATE: About that grille insignia, It looks a lot like a White. Anybody know of any front-engined White buses from that period that don't have the radiator jutting forward out of the body?

It's a Gray Line bus apparently, if that's helpful. Any bus experts know what kind of buses they used?

On new, clearer picture is visible crown in the badge. Then - according to this site: http://buskidspage.tripod.com/emblems.htm - it's a Crown Super Coach from late 1940s.

For future (from linked site):

The Crown must have been pretty new as the film was released in 1946.
